You’re probably here because you’ve just received an email from me via Capture One Live with a link to your proofing gallery. You can follow that link to review the images and let me know which ones you’d like me to finalize.
This is a quick guide on how to review and mark your favorite images to streamline the process and so that I know which ones you’d like me to edit.
🔍 How to Use the Gallery
My proofing gallery allows you to interact with it in a few helpful ways:
⭐ Rating & Color Tagging
You can rate each image or tag them with a color using your keyboard:
Star Ratings: Press keys 1–5 to assign a star rating.
Color Tags:
- Q – Remove color tag
- W – Red
- E – Orange
- R – Yellow
- T – Green
- Y – Blue
- U – Pink
- I – Purple
💬 Comments
You can also leave comments on any image — perfect for leaving notes, feedback, or requesting edits.
🔄 Navigation
Left and Right arrows ⬅️ ➡️ to navigate individual images.
Scroll wheel with your mouse on the image to zoom in an out. These are lower resolution images so zooming very far in will not be as effective as the original image.
Press ESC to return to the main gallery view at any time.
In the top navigation bar you’ll see a magnifying glass 🔍. When you click on that you’ll get a search and filter menu. You can use that to see what you’ve tagged so far.
Next to the magnifying glass there is a comment icon 💬. Clicking this will display all comments that have been left on images in that gallery.
The gallery will remain available online for 30 days, so please be sure to make your selections before then.
Once you’ve finished reviewing the images, just let me know which rating system (stars, colors, or comments) you used for your final picks so I can get going on the edits.
